Alice in Wonderland is a novel that had been written by Lewis Carroll who was a British author whose real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and who had it published in 1865. I must also point out that although most of us known it as Alice in Wonderland, the original name that was given this piece of literature by its creator was Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

This wonderful tale has almost immediately become loved by adults as well as children all over the world and it continues to be loved to this day. And that is because it has got the power to entertain as well as to tug at people’s hearts and to evoke that thought process with riddles and mind twisting logic as it talks about a young girl who inadvertently fell through a rabbit hole and landed in a land full of enchantment and magic and whose inhabitants are creatures possessing human characteristics although those are, for the most part, bizarre and perplexing.

Keeping in mind how very popular and beloved Alice in Wonderland was and still is, one should not be surprised that it has inspired many animators and film makers through the years. As a result, we can all enjoy Alice in Wonderland in a number of cartoon productions and full feature movies, the most recent of which came out in 2010.
