Toy Story costumes have been ultra popular for years, and it would be very difficult to come up with a movie that inspired more Halloween costume ideas than the animated film Toy Story. Choosing Unique Toy Story Costumes
If you?re looking for Toy Story costumes this Halloween, you can always rely on the famous cowboy and leader of the toys, Woody, cowgirl Jessie, and space ranger action figure Buzz Lightyear costumes to be a huge hit. But why not go a little off the beaten path and consider one of the lesser known, but still recognizable, toys from the hit movie?

Lovable Bo Peep
As you might guess from her name, this toy is inspired by Little Bo Beep. A Sheriff Woody and Bo Beep costume would work excellently for couples because she is Woody’s love interest in the first film. A shepherdess outfit, coupled with bloomers, a shepherd’s hook, and a bonnet, are all you need to look like Bo Peep from Toy Story. It’s possible to find these costume elements at a thrift store or vintage shop in your area.
Hamm the Piggy Bank
For many fans of the movie Toy Story, Hamm really stole the show. Hamm is a piggy bank, with a coin slot in his back and a cork in his stomach. Toy Story costumes modeled after Hamm are not difficult to make, especially if you are able to purchase a pig costume. Of course, pre-made Hamm Toy Story costumes are also available.
Try Mr. Potato Head
Everybody knows about the Mr. Potato Head toy. It’s a large plastic potato with interchangeable parts that are very colorful. As far as Toy Story costumes, he makes an excellent one! You can get quite creative with Mr. Potato head and all the possibilities his many parts present.
Mrs. Potato Head makes a great costume choice for females. Her costume looks quite similar to Mr. Potato Head, just more girly looking. In fact, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head costumes would work great for couples!
Sarge
Sarge is the commander of a group of green plastic toy soldiers. He remains a very well-liked character, and the ease of duplicating his army uniform makes him a popular choice for Toy Story costumes.
It doesn’t matter whether you pick Hamm, Sarge, Mr. Potato Head or Bo Peep, you’ll surely have a great time at your costumed event.
